We have had a steady, heavy rain most of the day. The morning started out with no wind at all and just light off and on again showers. By this afternoon, the winds started coming up and the heavier rains started. There is a chance the rain will change to snow overnight--maybe 1-2 inches. They are getting over 8 inches out in North Dakota with blizzard conditions. I think we are just on the edge of this big storm and hopefully we will escape the worst of it.
Since we were house bound due to the weather, John spent most of the day working in the shop. I kept myself busy getting more of the finances organized and just doing little odd jobs that I had put off for some time. We spent the evening on the computer and watching a couple of our favorite TV shows. This weather is suppose to continue all night and all day tomorrow. Should be interesting.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
