Weather-wise, we had a cold, miserable day. The temps barely reached the mid 30's with cloudy skies and strong winds out of the north. It felt like winter again. There is a major snow storm in the southern part of the state, so we're hoping it doesn't reach us up here in the north.
John spent his day once again working in the shop. He doesn't mind working with the weather so bad as it gives him something to do. Matt needed some help running the wood splitter, so this afternoon John bundled up and gave him a hand splitting the wood he had cut the other day.
I tackled laundry today along with doing some cleaning and working more on end of the month finances. Since the weather is forecast to be cold over the next few days, John and I plan to get out of town and head over to Grand Forks to do some shopping and check out the level of the Red River.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
