After our big hike of yesterday, we were both pleased to see that we could get out of bed without any sore muscles or bum knees. We debated whether we wanted to walk this morning or sleep in, but decided to take a walk and get everything moving again. Though it was sunny all day, the winds were very strong and kept the temps in the high 60's.
We headed off to church and afterwards a group went to Julie's for Sunday lunch. Julie's serves a buffet on Sunday's and it is very good. We ate with Stan and Jan Metcalf and Sam Lark, and then headed home to settle in and watch football. We rooted for the Colts and were glad they won. However, the Viking's game was a big disappointment. I am rooting for the Colts in the Super Bowl.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
