Today was sunny and clear and, after a very cold start, the temperatures reached 40 degrees. Quite a bit a melting occurred this afternoon and we can now see some bare spots out in the fields. This morning John worked down in the shop and after lunch spent some time outside digging ditches in the driveway to divert the water. The puddles are growing larger and the ruts are getting deeper. Once the snow drops below the edge of the driveway, the water will run off into the fields and the driveway can begin to dry out. Hopefully that will happen in the next day or so as our temps are forecast to reach into the 50's.
My day was spent doing a little laundry, cleaning out the cabinets in the den, and putting more items on ebay. This evening we watched Survivor. I bummed because Malcolm got voted off and I was rooting for him. Guess I'll have to go with Cochran.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
