

John headed off to carvers after breakfast. I spent the morning changing sheets, doing laundry, and catching up with some bill paying. Before I knew it, John was back home. He made a couple of salads for lunch and then spent some time out in the yard planting his new Oleander and a new cactus he picked up yesterday from Billie. Ralph Ramsey stopped by for a visit and before long our neighbor Richard was here along with our pastor, who was out riding his bike. In the middle of all this visiting, Gene stopped by to pick up John and they were off to do some more "metal detecting". They found a piece of old chain, a belt buckle, and an old square headed nail. They considered it a successful hunt.
