This morning when we looked out the window all we saw were heavy gray clouds and mist. There were large puddles on the streets so we knew it must have rained overnight. Since our morning walk was canceled once again, we went back to bed for a little more rest. It seemed strange to sleep in two days in a row--we're used to being up and out pretty early. After breakfast, John left to pick up Tim and headed off to wood carvers. I did some laundry, changed sheets on the bed, and started a new book I got from the library.

Late this morning the sky started to clear off and the temps and humidity started to rise. It turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. We decided to take a run into Del Rio to wash the car and pick up some groceries. The car was very dirty and muddy from the rain over the past two or three days. We had a quick supper and decided since it was such a nice evening, we would take a walk around the course. It is unbelievable how green the grass is getting. As we walked home, we could hear some of the night sounds. It is truly Spring! I have posted another photo of John's cranes. He did a great job.
