After a night of thunder storms and rain, the morning dawned bright and clear. There has been little rain here since September and everything is very dry, so last night's showers were very welcomed.
John and I ate breakfast, got cleaned up, and headed off to church. Following the service, there was a potluck dinner. Once again the ladies of the church prepared a delicious meal. These potlucks are very enjoyable as we get the opportunity to eat some foods that we don't have in northern Minnesota. John is actually developing a taste for some of the spicier dishes.
The temperature warmed up very nicely this afternoon, so we headed down to the Par 3 for a round of golf. Gene and Lloyd found us on the third hole and visited for a few moments before heading back to the RV park. We finished playing nine holes and were back home in time to watch the Eagles game. Sad to say our beloved Eagles lost to Green Bay. We spent the rest of the evening watching a few favorite TV shows.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
