Happy New Year!! There is a saying that what you do on New Year's Day is what you do for the rest of the year. Looks like John and I will be doing nothing in 2011. We had a pretty quiet day--took our usual morning walk and when we got back, John made us a nice bacon and egg breakfast.

Ralph Ramsey stopped over to check out our golf cart problem and gave John a few pointers on using a tester. He stayed to visit for a while before heading off home. Since it was such a nice day, John took down the outside Christmas lights and got them organized and ready to store. While he was busy with that, I started taking down and packing away the inside decorations--the only thing left to do now is the Christmas tree--that will be tomorrow's project.

New Year's day means football, so we watched three different bowl games--our favorite team, Penn State, lost. All in all, it was a pretty low key day.
