It was another cool and cloudy day with some strong winds so getting anything done outside wasn't in the plans for today. John worked down in the shop for the first part of the morning doing some staining. When that was done, he headed out to help Matt finish up the roofing job. He got home in time for a late lunch and then worked back in the shop for another hour or so. The boys are sure keeping him hopping.

We have been out of hamburger since last fall, but didn't want to stock up on any since we were leaving for the winter. John has a friend who raises beef cattle, so he called Mark this afternoon and inquired about buying some meat. He had some on hand, so John went and picked up almost 40 pounds. This should keep us in hamburgers for quite a while.

My day was spent continuing with the cleaning out of drawers and closets. Tomorrow I need to start pricing things for Saturday's sale. Hopefully the weather will co-operate.
