We had another sunny day--that makes two in a row. John left the house around 8 a.m. and spent the next ten hours working with Matt on a roofing job--Sam and Adam also worked today. They got all the old shingles torn off, the tar paper applied, and all the shingle bundles up on the roof and ready to be installed tomorrow.

Today was my birthday, but since we celebrated last Friday by going out for dinner, I didn't do anything special today. My time was spent catching up on laundry and cleaning our home office. All the files are now cleared out and organized. John's birthday is Friday and his brother sent him a very special birthday present today--a Rambo knife (at least that's what I call it). Now both of them have one of these knives and are calling themselves Rambo 1 and Rambo 2. Must be a guy thing.

John was pretty tired tonight, so we spent a quiet evening watching a little TV before heading off to bed.
