We woke up this morning to sunny skies, but the strong winds of yesterday were still hanging around. John checked over the outside after breakfast and was glad to see that we didn't lose any shingles or have any other property damage from the high winds.
John worked down in the shop for the morning and then, after lunch, got busy mowing and trimming the grass. The lawn looks pretty good right now. I did a little laundry and straightening up around the house to get things ready for company.
This evening John took the tiller up to Matt's and worked up his garden area. He left the tiller there so Matt could go over it again tomorrow. I took some time this evening to list a jacket on ebay and then did some trip planning on the computer. We are hoping to travel to Michigan in a week or so. Will know more about definite plans after we talk to Tim and Mary Ellen tomorrow.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
