We were up bright and early for our walk--the weather was just about perfect. After breakfast we got cleaned up and headed to Clearbrook for church. It was a real blessing to worship with our extended family this morning.
John spent his afternoon working in the garden--weeding and watering. He decided to wait until the coolness of tomorrow morning to pick more strawberries. While he was working outside, I cut up more berries. bagged them, and stuck them in the freezer. We're going to have plenty of strawberries for next winter.
We were all back at Matt's by suppertime. After eating, the kids road the four wheelers and played some Bocce Ball. The adults took that game over when some of youngsters got tired of playing.
We ended the evening with the adults playing "31" while the kids watched a movie. Tomorrow is the last day of our family get together. Happy Fourth of July!!
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
