It was another beautiful day in northern Minnesota. The temps warm up by late morning and we need to turn the AC on, then once the sun goes down, it cools off enough to open the windows and let the fresh air inside.
First thing this morning John went with Matt to finish up the window job--it only took an hour and then he was back home. John then cleaned the ashes out of the outdoor stove and pruned the plum trees behind our garden. The branches were growing so close to the ground he couldn't drive the mower beneath them to cut the grass.
While John was busy with his chores, I went to Bemidji to get my new glasses adjusted and then stopped at Wal Mart for some groceries and a few other items we needed. Tomorrow we up bright and early to watch Josh's first football game.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
