We had another cold, rainy, and breezy day that kept us house bound for the morning and afternoon. Around 3 p.m. we all got cleaned up and headed off to Bemidji to meet Carol T. (John and Gus's step-sister) for supper at Applebee's. We made a quick stop at Wal Mart for a few items before getting to the restaurant. Carol was just pulling in as we arrived so our timing was perfect.

Everyone had a delicious meal and we stayed there for over an hour just visiting and catching up. The waiter kept asking us if we wanted anything more to eat or drink and we finally got the hint they would like us to give up our table. Since we still had more visiting to accomplish, it was decided to head over to Perkins for coffee and pie. Perkins wasn't at all busy, so we were able to stay and talk until we were all talked out. We had a very enjoyable evening--it was good to have family together again and spend time visiting and catching up.
