Today's weather was cold, cloudy, and windy. What's with the weather and football games? When we watched Josh play last Saturday, it was hot and sunny with us looking for shade every few minutes. Every game this week, and there were three, were played in cold and windy conditions--cold enough to wear winter jackets, hats, and gloves. If there wasn't a game scheduled, then the weather was very nice with sun and light breezes. I guess that's just how it is during football season.

John and I were up early as we had over an hour's drive to watch Josh play. The 5th graders played well and won both their games.

After the games were finished, John and I went to Grand Forks to do so shopping. Our first stop was Culver's for some lunch and then we went to Bed, Bath & Beyond for some new cookie sheets. From there we made a quick stop at the mall for a birthday present and then on to Sam's Club for some household supplies. Our final stop on the way home was DQ for an ice cream treat. We weren't too hungry since we had a late lunch so an ice cream cone and Blizzard were just enough.
