Our final day in Gillette was another busy one. This morning we attended the First Baptist Church where Dave is serving as pastor. We got the opportunity to tour the church facilities and meet some of the congregation.
Following lunch, we headed off to the Recreation Center, a huge sports facility with an indoor water park. We enjoyed swimming in the lazy river and sitting in the hot tub. Best of all, senior citizens got in for free.
For supper, John treated the family to pizza and then we spent the rest of the evening watching a movie and playing games. John and I plan to hit the road early tomorrow morning and hopefully make a few touristy stops along route 90.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
