Our morning was overcast and the temps not quite as nice as yesterday, but we were able to take our morning walk. The road dried out a little yesterday and it was easier walking without having to be on the lookout for mud.
John kept busy most of the day dismantling the rest of the crushed lean-to roof and managed to get the entire area cleared by early afternoon. He then vacuumed around the bottom of our screened porch to remove the leaves and other debris that accumulated over the winter. We still need to get the summer furniture out of storage and onto the porch, but the weather has been too cool and wet so far.
Today I tackled the laundry, cleaned the upstairs, and did some work on our finances. Tomorrow will be a busy one for us as we have some errands to run in Bemidji.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
