Since the weather was cloudy with rain showers for most of the day, John and I decided it was a good one to get started in the shop looking things over.  The cleaning and sorting is going to be a very big project.  We spent the entire day working in just one room and got three walls completely cleared.  There were boxes of tax records, etc. that went back over 10 years that the accountant said we could destroy.  We set up a table where we placed the items we want to put on the auction, and the rest was pretty much trash that we'll haul to the landfill tomorrow.  John and I will hopefully get this room finished tomorrow--it was the easiest room to start with, but it at least gives us a sense of accomplishment before we tackle the harder areas.
