Since life has been pretty quiet around here, I didn't post yesterday as we only hung out around the house and did more cleaning in the shop.  We have company arriving Wednesday or Thursday--The Bevins from Indiana and the Knowles from Michigan.  Actually, the Bevins are spending a day or two with the Knowles and then both couples are coming to see us.

As usual when company is expected, the house and yard get spiffed up and that is what John and I have been doing all day.  With the hotter weather and rain, the lawn, garden, and flower beds have erupted along with the weeds.  John kept busy mowing and trimming while I got the downstairs cleaned up.  Tomorrow the upstairs will, hopefully, get a treatment and all the beds ready for our visitors. 

With the warm weather and high humidity, we were very glad to see the AC repairman pull into the drive early this morning.  The problem was a wire that had gotten loose and it only took a minute or two to reattach it and get the AC running.  Thank goodness for a cool house.
