I was feeling a little under the weather this morning, so I slept in while John went off to wood carvers. After getting a little extra shut-eye, I felt much better and managed to do some laundry and change the bed linens by the time John got home around noon. He said there were only four carvers there today--many folks have gone home for the Christmas holidays.

Since we didn't get our walk in this morning, we decided to take one this afternoon. It was a beautiful sunny day with temps in the low 60's. Shortly after we returned from our walk, John left to attend the Planning Committee meeting--he was appointed to that last spring before we went home to Minnesota for the summer. After such a busy day yesterday, it felt good to just have a quiet one today.
