We took our walk in a heavy fog this morning. As the day progressed, we kept waiting for the sun to come out, but it stayed misty and cloudy the whole day. After being on the go for the past two days, it felt rather good to stay home. I did some laundry while John took care of a few chores around here and made a run to the post office.
Since outside activities were out of the question, we decided to bake some Christmas cookies this afternoon. I mixed the dough and John rolled it out and cut out the cookies. We had a pretty good system going and it wasn't too long before we had a container full of delicious cookies.
After supper we spent a quiet evening watching some college football and a movie.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
