John and I managed to survive day two without AC. We left the house around 6 a.m. for our walk so we could get it in before the temps warmed up.
John ate breakfast and then headed out to pick more raspberries--he got two buckets full of berries and there's still plenty left to ripen.
While John was busy in the garden, I got the kitchen cleaned and got things organized to make more raspberry jelly. By then it was time to get cleaned up and leave for church. It sure felt good to sit in the AC for an hour or so.
We kept busy this afternoon making another batch of jelly, getting the picture frames lacquered, and matching up frames and pics. I ordered more glass for the frames a few days ago and hopefully that will be in sometime this week. John and I also spent time in front of the fan watching the PGA. Hope the AC get repaired tomorrow--weather is suppose to get warmer.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
