We overslept this morning and were a little later getting out for our walk. The bad thing about that was the deer flies were more active; however, on the bright side, we ran into several of our neighbors and ended up visiting during our walk.
Right after breakfast John loaded up the tiller and headed up to Matt's place. He got a haircut from Sara, tilled their garden, and then went with Hanna into the gym and gave her some coaching as she practiced her shooting. This afternoon he picked a couple of more buckets of raspberries which we processed and got into the freezer.
I spent my day taking care of some household chores and working on the finances. Our weather continues to be warm and very dry--rain is very much needed in our area. At least we are able to stay nice and cool in the AC.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
