It was a pretty quiet day for the Lavin household. John left at 7:30 a.m. with Ralph and the two of them spent the day in San Antonio. Ralph had a doctor's appointment and from there they went to lunch, ran some errands, did some shopping, and then headed back to the Fort. John got home just in time for supper.

I decided to head to Del Rio this morning before the day got hot--the temps reached 99 degrees this afternoon. I went to the mall and then made a stop for lunch at Wendy's. From there it was on to Wal Mart for a few groceries before heading back home. This afternoon was spent staying cool in the AC while cleaning up around the house and making a dessert for tonight.

We spent the evening watching Survivor (Yeah, Matt is still in the game) and American Idol--can't believe the talent this year. Will be fun to see who will win.
