We took our walk in the dark this morning keeping to the streets where the street lights illuminated our way. Walking the golf course was out of the question as there were no lights, the sprinkler system was running, and we couldn't see our way to avoid the water.
Following breakfast, John headed off for the Monday morning wood carving session. I spent the day doing laundry, catching up on the finances, working on the computer, and starting a new mystery on my Kindle. John spent his afternoon over at Stan's getting started on the screened in porch. He got one section laid out before calling it a day.
This evening at least 20 folks gathered at Rodger's place in Unit 37 to celebrate Nancy's and Tim's birthdays. We had ice cream and a very delicious chocolate cake made by Tootie. Everyone seemed to enjoy the evening just sitting and visiting. Our day ended with a little TV before bedtime.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
