John and I were up and out a little later this morning--we were tired from yesterday and had a harder time getting up. It was very windy, but nice and warm for our walk. The temps are suppose to be in the low 90's all week.
Right after breakfast, John left for wood carvers where he is currently working on an Indian bust. He is just getting started and hopes to work on it at home over the summer. There are a few more wood carving meetings left as Wallace will be leaving the first of April and will be away for quite a while.
I kept busy today changing bed linens, getting all the laundry caught up, and continuing the packing for our trip home. After lunch, John went over to Stan's and made great progress on the screened porch. He hopes to start painting everything tomorrow.
Since it was such a nice evening, after supper we took a ride around the golf course. Spring has certainly arrived here at the fort--everything is nice and green and the leaves seemed to come out overnight. It's really looking pretty around here right now.
We spent the evening reading, working on the computer, and watching some TV. Tomorrow is ladies' golf.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
