The high winds of yesterday continued overnight and all day today. With temps in the low 40's, it was a pretty chilly day and a good one to stay inside and veg out. On our drive to church we actually had to turn on the heat in the car--just a few days ago, we were using the AC while driving.

This afternoon we watched the NFL and, in between games, John searched ebay for a new set of Ping irons. He was bidding on a set, but got outbid at the last second. He thinks he found another set, so we'll have to see if he can win this one.

I spent a little time today working on birthday presents and finishing up a novel I started last week. This weather makes us antsy to head to Texas.
