We woke up to cloudy skies and rain which meant our morning walk was off, so we rolled over and got an extra hour of sleep.
JD still needed some help in the shop, so John worked with him this morning. Our weather keeps getting cooler--our highs next week will only reach the mid 40's--so I spent this morning digging out the heavier jackets and washing up some of the light sweatshirts to pack away. We still had quite of few tomatoes left from the garden, so this afternoon we made one final batch of salsa. That's the last of our canning for this year. Other than Matt dropping in for a visit, our day was pretty routine and quiet.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
