We slept in again this morning. It stays dark until well after 7a.m. and that makes it hard to get the eyes opened and the body moving. Following breakfast, we headed up to church. It was a real treat today to have our grandson, Isaac, sit with us during the service.
On our way out the door, Sam and Isaac asked to borrow John's 22 rifle as they wanted to go squirrel hunting this afternoon. John said "Okay", and they stopped down after lunch to pick up the gun and ammo. The weather today was cloudy, cold, and damp--a good day to just stay inside and keep warm. We watched the NFL games and then John decided to go sit out in his deer stand and see if any deer come out. He didn't see anything, so doesn't know how the hunting will go this weekend.
John spent his evening watching the Eagles and Cowboys while I enjoyed The Amazing Race and The Good Wife.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
