This morning we were up nice and early so John could be on time for his eye doctor's appointment in Bemidji. We arrived about 15 minutes early and were surprised when he was taken right into the exam room--usually you sit around waiting to be called. John's eyes had improved a little, but the doctor didn't feel a change in his prescription was needed. His current glasses have some bad scratches on the lens, so he decided to get a new pair--they should be ready to pick up in about a week.
From the eye doctor's we made a stop at Gander Mountain and then Burger King for some lunch. When we got home, John went with Matt to finish the ceiling job they had started a couple of weeks ago. They had been waiting for the wood to come in and it finally arrived the other day. I had an appointment for a hair cut, so it was off to Sara's for me. Our evening was spent watching Survivor (can't believe who was voted off), the World Series, and working on the computer.
We have started this blog to keep family and friends updated with news and photos about our lives in both Minnesota and Texas. We hope you will check in often and enjoy sharing our experiences.
