With the temperature at 34 degrees, we had to bundle up for our morning walk--no shorts today. It was a beautiful day with bright blue skies, but it never got very warm--needed a sweater and long pants.

John and I had a rather full day. After breakfast it was off to church for Sunday service. A delicious potluck dinner followed--there were so many different casseroles, salads, and desserts. Everyone had plenty to eat, including us.

We were back home for only an hour when it was time to head out for the Christmas Tour of Homes. There were three homes on the tour and each was decorated with beautiful mementos, antiques, and art work along with many unusual Christmas decorations. After we visited the third home, we headed off to the Palisado Kitchen for refreshments. From there we went to the Kinney Country Museum where we saw many photos showing some of the history of Brackettville. We never realized this museum was right there in town--we'll be sure to stop back one day when we can spend more time looking at the exhibits.

After being on the go all day, it felt good just to spend a relaxing evening watching some TV and reading. To all our Minnesota friends and family - STAY WARM!!
