It was another warm morning--62 degrees at 7 a.m. Started out wearing a sweatshirt and half way through our walk, that was too heavy. Funny how the weather changes so quickly. We were worried about staying warm when we walked, and now we are trying to stay cool.

After breakfast John picked up Tim and they went off to play nine holes on the big course. There were nine guys playing today and they had three teams of three. They all played very well, with the final scores of two teams at one over par and they other, one under par. John was very encouraged about his golf game.

Wednesday is Weight Watchers, so I headed off to Del Rio. After the meeting, I did a little shopping at Wal Mart, stopped for lunch, and then headed back to the fort. It seems that we have been doing something everyday and I have gotten behind on some household chores, so this afternoon I tried to get caught up on the laundry. John has a job making a bird cage for one of Stan's friends, so he started working on that project.

This evening Mary Ellen did a power point presentation on the fort where she and Tim volunteered this past fall. She did a super job taking us on a tour of the fort through her pictures and sharing their experiences. There a quite a crowd and everyone enjoyed the evening.

Tonight was the first episode of Survivor, so I set the VCR to record it while we were out so we wouldn't miss it. That's all for the blog tonight--time for Survivor.
