We had another cloudy morning for our walk, but by 10 a.m. the skies cleared off and we had a very warm, sunny day.

John went to wood carvers this morning and I pretty much stuck close to home today. We have been gone so much that I was way behind on laundry, bill paying, and a few other household chores. So, today was my day to catch up and that is what I did. Feels good to finally be on top of things again.

While I stayed busy with inside jobs, John spent his afternoon working on his bird cage project. It is just about complete. A friend of Stan's wanted a nice cage that would hold two doves. He hires out to release doves at weddings, funerals, etc. and wanted something nice for hauling the birds and releasing them.

It was so nice today, we were able to sit out on the patio for an hour or so and enjoy the nice breezes and, as usually happens when you sit outside, you get visitors. We have noticed that the trees are starting to bud, so I think our "winter" weather is behind us. The weatherman is predicting warm temps for the next ten days. Pretty soon we'll all probably be complaining about the heat.

This evening John worked on plans for Jan's screened in porch. She needs to present them to the Architectural committee for approval before the work can be started. Hopefully she'll get that next week and John will be able to get going on that job. He also has to put up gutters for Sam and Jerry.

We spent a rather relaxing evening watching some college basketball. John is getting ready for the NCAA Tournament next month.
