The sky was getting light when we left the house this morning for our walk. Just a few days ago, we would be half way through before it started getting light. It's amazing how quickly the amount of daylight changes--mornings are brighter and the evenings have a longer twilight.

After breakfast we were off to meet Rodger and Tootie for nine holes of golf. This has become a regular weekly event. We enjoy playing with them and we all have a good time. Not sure how much fun it was today--we all struggled with putting and direction of our different shots. Next Thursday will be our last day to play together as they are heading home to Michigan on April 1st. John and I will miss our weekly golf game with them--we'll have to start it up again next winter.

Following lunch, John went over to Stan's to fix a leak in their garbage disposal and then to do more painting. He got home around 4 p.m. and said he had run out of paint. So we will need to make another trip to Del Rio's Sherwin Williams store. We had also ordered some solar screens for our windows and received a call that they are ready to be picked up. Just have to find the time to get these errands done--maybe we'll take a very early trip to Del Rio in the morning so we can get back in time to leave for the air force base tour that is scheduled for tomorrow.

John and Tim went to wood carvers this evening and I spent a relaxing evening watching American Idol (Can't believe Casey received the lowest amount of votes. Glad they saved him.) When John got home, we were back to watching the NCAA Tournament.
