We had a very busy day today.  John and I took our usual morning walk and then after breakfast got everything around for fair entry day.  Our shift for helping out began at 12 noon.  As people brought in their items for the Original Arts Building, we attached their entry tags, folded the bottom so their names were covered, gave them their claim stubs, and then put their entry in a category marked on the many tables set up in the building.

The original plan was to work until four p.m., return home for supper, and then come back at 8 p.m. to help set up.  There was a lull in the entries coming in, so it was decided to start setting up before 8 p.m.  Boy, were we glad about that decision.  We didn't get done until almost 9 p.m. even though we had many folks helping out.  Everyone was very pleased with the end results.  Now it's up to the judges tomorrow to pick the best works of art in each category.  I sure wouldn't want that job.
