Even though the morning was overcast, the rain had finally stopped.  Right after breakfast, John headed out to begin the job of mowing the tall grasses around the property.  He got the front field done this morning and worked a little on the ground behind the shop this afternoon, taking several breaks throughout the day to watch some college football.  John's going to do more mowing tomorrow if the weather permits, but it's a big job that will take a while to complete.  At least the tall grass will be away from the buildings and that reduces the fire danger.

While John was busy outside, I installed a new financial software update on both the PC and laptop and got the finances current.  I then did some more packing and sorting of items to take south.  John was pretty stiff and tired this evening, so we just relaxed watching some college football and working on the computer.
