No Title 2

The clear weather overnight led to much cooler temps this morning.  The thermometer read 41 degrees and that meant long pants and hooded sweatshirts for our walk.  It didn't take long to warm up once the sun rose over the horizen and we ended up with a beautiful day with a high around 81 degrees.  With last of the cold weather behind us, the Weesatche trees are starting to bloom and the Mesquites are beginning to green up.  Also, the male turkeys are beginning to strut their stuff for the ladies.

Last night plans were made to meet up with Everett, Darlene, Pam and Tom for lunch at Burger and Shake, so around 11:30 a.m. we headed into town.  This was a farewell lunch as these two couples will be heading home--Everett and Darlene, tomorrow, and Tom and Pam next Monday or Tuesday.  Thank goodness for email and Facebook so we can keep in touch over the summer.

We got home from lunch just in time to pick up the clubs and golf cart and headed down to the clubhouse where we met up with Paul for a final round of golf.  He and Melinda will be heading to northern Texas to visit some family on Monday and then move onto Kentucky.

This evening I met up with Darlene and Lois for Bingo while John stayed home and watched more of the NCAA basketball tournament on TV.  Darlene and Lois were big winners tonight.
