No Title 3

This morning started off just like yesterday--cold in the morning, but once the sun came up, the temps rose very quickly.  It's actually very pleasant walking in the cooler part of the day and we enjoy our walk around the golf course.

Today was the annual meeting of the Fort Clark Association, so John and I headed down to the post theater where the meeting was being held.  A new Director of Operations has been appointed and I think the members were very impressed by what he had to say about the future of the fort.  The meeting was followed by a free lunch provided by the association so went to the clubhouse to pick up our boxed lunches and then sat and visited with John, Theresa, Dave, Gene, and Jeanne while we ate.

This afternoon we went to the Historial Society special program about movies that have been filmed here on the fort.  We watched selected scenes from seven or eight movies where we saw the fort buildings and areas around the fort that were used as background.  It was very interesting and informative to learn about what goes into making a movie.  We opted out of touring the sites and spent the remainder of the afternoon sitting outside at Lois and Chuck's enjoying the nice breeze and visiting.  On the ride home I took a few photos of the Las Moras that flows through the fort.
