We had a beautiful day today--warmer temps, sunshine, and slight breezes. John worked in the shop the entire morning so he could get everything done as he'll be busy visiting with his brother the rest of this week. I did laundry, changed bed linens, and baked an apple pie so we would have something for dessert this evening.

This afternoon we traveled a little over an hour to Goodrich for Sam's football game. The Bears played well and dominated with a final score of 40 to 0--Sam scored three touchdowns.

It was past supper time when we headed home, so we stopped at the Drive-in in Clearbrook for a burger and fries. I called Katie to see if they had arrived at our place, and they were just eating at BK in Bemidji. We were able to take our time eating and as we drove down our road, we could see them just in front of us--our timing was perfect. Matt, Sara, and the kids stopped for a pizza and brought it down to our place so we could all visit for a little bit. We had a good time visiting, looking at pics of the game, and telling a few family stories.
