We had rain for about half of the day--it has been very dry here and the moisture was very much appreciated. Hopefully the rains made it to the Boundary Waters area where there have been major forest fires.

It was a pretty low key day for us--church this morning and then watching the NFL games this afternoon. We also took some time to hang a couple of pictures in our guest room and I made a batch of chocolate cookies. John's brother and sister-inn-law will be arriving tomorrow from Ohio and will be spending the week with us. We're planning to do some visiting and catch one of Sam's games. That's all for today.
