We Made It To Wyoming

We pulled out of our driveway a little after 8 a.m. yesterday and, after driving for seven hours, stopped for the night in Dickinson, ND.  This was our first longer road trip in the new car and I must say it was a much more enjoyable drive than it would have been in our little Honda.  After checking into our motel, we rested up for a bit and then headed across the road to Applebee's for some supper. John and I then spent a couple of hours walking in the Dickinson mall and WalMart before heading back to the motel and calling it a night.

Our plan for today was to arrive at Amy's in time to meet up with them when they got home from church.  We arrived right on time and only had about a ten minute wait before they got to their house.  Since today is Caleb's 14th birthday, we took everyone out to Godfather's Pizza for lunch and then returned home to watch football.  They have the Direct TV football package, so it seemed like we were able to watch some of just about every game played today.  We had a fun day visiting and catching up on what has been happening with everyone over the summer.  John bought a cooler full of grapes with us, so tomorrow we'll probably help Amy make some grape juice and watch Noah play soccer.
