When we took our walk this morning was it rather warm and humid with the breezes starting to blow. By mid morning the winds were very strong, the temps dropped and the afternoon turned out to be a very pleasant. We were able to turn the AC off and open the windows for some fresh air.

John went over to Ralph's this morning to help him fix the driver's seat in his RV and from there on to Leta's to adjust the downspouts he had put up last month. My morning was spent changing bed linens, doing laundry, and packing. Just about everything is ready to go--just a few last minute items left to pack. I made one more shortcake so we could use the last of the frozen strawberries we brought down last fall.

After supper, we took a little golf cart ride around the fort. Things sure are quiet--the condos are just about completely empty. I think John and I will be the last to leave among our circle of friends. After ladies' golf tomorrow, we plan to have lunch with the Bevins as they will be pulling out on Wednesday. This evening we watched the Final Four Championship game and ate the shortcake.
