Today was just beautiful--the winds finally died down and it was warm enough that I wore shorts for the first time since we've been home.

John made a nice breakfast for our company and after more visiting for a couple of hours, Tim and Mary Ellen left for Minneapolis. We needed to do some banking and to pick up a new gas can and insecticide sprayer so we made a quick run to Bemidji and Wal Mart. While we were there, we also picked up a new propane cylinder for our gas grill. Just one more stop to gas up the Honda and fill the gas can, and we were on our way back home.

John gassed up the lawn mower and spent an hour or so cutting more lawn. There were some places where he was mowing through standing water. While John was busy with the lawn, I did some more work on organizing our Michigan trip. I think I have it pretty well mapped out--just have to start checking out motels next.
