We had another beautiful day--in fact it was warm enough this afternoon that we turned the AC on in the house. JD is away for a few days on a camping trip with his family. Before he left, he gave John a list of parts to be made and product to be assembled. John decided to work in the shop in the mornings so he could have his afternoons free to do what else needs to get done around here before we leave on our trip next Monday.

This afternoon John mowed more lawn and worked on getting the electric fence up around the garden. Everything he planted has sprouted, so he wants to protect the tender plants from the rabbits. We haven't seen any so far this spring, but he wants to take precautions in case they start showing up.

My day was spent taking care of finances--making sure everything was paid or scheduling payments on the internet. I don't want to have to worry about something not being paid while we are traveling. All our travel plans are complete--have all the motel reservations made and confirmed. John sold his hunting bow and accessories on ebay, so we got that boxed up and ready to ship. I have a jacket listed that will end in two days--hopefully that will sell and I can get that sent before we leave.

The rest of the afternoon was pretty quiet. We watched a little TV before calling it a night. Tomorrow the Honda goes in for servicing, so we will be gone most of the day.
