We had a pretty quiet day around here. John worked down in the shop with JD finishing up some loose ends that weren't completed yesterday. With that work done, he gave the lawn one last touch up and trim. The garden is all weeded and fertilized, so hopefully it will do well while we're away. Everything he planted is now up and looking healthy and the strawberry plants are loaded with berries. As the berries ripen, the grand kids will have to take care of the picking and eating until we get home.

I kept busy today changing bed linens, doing several small loads of laundry, getting our clothes ready to pack, and giving the house one final cleanup. We are pretty well ready to travel come Monday morning and are looking forward to visiting with friends and family and seeing parts of the country we haven't traveled before.
