We were up by 6:30 a.m., took showers, finished loading the car, and were on the road to Bemidji by 7:15 a.m. Our first stop was to gas up the Honda and then on to Mc D's for breakfast. The rest of the day was spent in the car with a stop in Superior, WI. for lunch and then another stop at Dairy Queen for an ice cream treat. We rolled into Iron Mountain, MI, by 5 p.m. The day was absolutely perfect for driving and we enjoyed the beauty of northern Wisconsin. Our trusty Garmin led us to a nice restaurant for supper and, after a walk around a mall, we called it a night. Onto Mackinaw City tomorrow.
