The temps were in the upper 20's when we took our walk this morning. The ground was covered with a heavy frost that looked like a light dusting of snow. John commented about there being no more green--everything is now some shade of brown. At least we don't have white like the east coast.

This morning John and I did some more work on the shelves in the basement. We arranged them the way we wanted and found a spot to store the scre
ens. We then left the restocking until next week because the guys were coming to site in their rifles.

Sam, Matt, and Isaac arrived after lunch with their guns. Joh
n set up a couple of tables--one as a firing station and the other for laying out the different ammo. Each one took turns siting in their rifles. When they got done with that, they had some fun time firing a couple of pistols. This was Isaac's first time firing a gun. He had a little trouble at first with looking through the scope, but he got the hang of it and did a good job hitting the target.

Diesel came along on the outing, but didn't like
the loud noise of the guns. He stayed pretty close to Sam

Once the guys were finished shooting, they stayed for supper and watched some of the Penn State football game before heading home to do some bow hunting.

John spent his evening watching college football and cleaning the guns that were fired today. I did some work on the computer and finished the mystery I've been reading for the past week.
