It was another beautiful day and one of the warmer ones so far this summer. We actually worked up a sweat walking this morning.

Today was Bagley's annual Art in the Park and Crazy Daze. After breakfast we decided to head into town and check things out before it got too hot. We walked through the park and looked at the different displays and then headed into town to see what bargains could be found. John searched out a couple of good buys. The local grocery store was selling a steak sandwich and can of pop for $2, so we picked up a couple of sandwiches and pop to eat at home.

This afternoon we attended a memorial service for a friend of ours. Even though it was a sad occasion, it was also a time to reconnect with folks we hadn't seen in a very long time.

On our way home from the service, we stopped over at Matt's place. John wanted Hanna's help with a little project he has been working on. Sara and the kids were still at the pool, so we stayed and talked with Matt until they got home. We ended up being invited to supper and spending most of the evening. After we got home, we watched a little TV before calling it a day.
