Our weather took a turn for the better and we enjoyed a nice sunny afternoon with temps reaching into the 60's.  John spent his morning working out in the yard doing some cleanup.  Joanne came over to work in the shop, so he kept the kids occupied a while playing some games in the yard.  John also got his chainsaw oiled up and the chains sharpened, so now he is ready to get started on the wood pile for next winter.

I tackled the laundry today and started washing up some winter jackets so they can be put away for the summer.  We are heading out to Wyoming next week to visit with Amy and Dave and plan to stay a few extra days to explore the area around the Big Horn mountains.  I spent some time on the computer looking at places to visit and trying to get a travel plan together.

Our grandson Noah hurt his little finger last week, and since it wasn't feeling much better over the weekend, he saw the doctor this morning.  He has a very deep bruise and is now wearing a splint on his hand.  He Skyped us this evening to tell us all about his injury and to show off his bandaged hand.  Noah started off telling us he got hurt falling off a cliff, but then changed his story.  Seems he got injured on the playground at school playing soccer with his friends.  The cliff story was much more exciting.
