This morning we were up and about bright and early for our walk. Today we saw more signs that spring has arrived--the Mountain Laurel bushes along the golf course are starting to show their pretty purple blossoms. Over the last couple of days we have noticed different birds showing up at our feeders. The hummingbirds have returned to the fort for a brief stop before continuing their northern trek. Someone said their saw a robin the other day. It is interesting to see the different species of birds that come here for a few weeks before continuing their migration north.

After breakfast I headed off for a haircut. While I was gone, John did some of the household chores and then worked on his next carving project. When I got home, John was sitting out on the patio putting the finishing touches on his hummingbird carving and we sat out for a bit just enjoying the warm sunshine. Tom, a resident of the Condos, stopped by to ask John to take a look at a water leak on the roof. John said he would try to get to it early next week. John is becoming the Condo Repairman.

It was very windy today, so we decided not to play golf. Instead we took a trip to Home Depot to pick up the paint supplies John needed to repaint Sam's front door. While there, we had lunch and browsed through some shops in the mall.

This evening, John and Tim headed off to wood carvers. I taped the next episode of Survivor which we watched after John got home. Now that March Madness is getting into full swing, we will be watching wall to wall basketball over the next couple of weeks.
